The registration process for the English proficiency test consists of certain steps. The explanation describing these steps, below, is of fundamental importance, since the candidates who do not proceed as determined by the Language Center will not have their registration made effective and will have to wait until the next exam (which can take up to six months in most cases) in order to have their proficiency evaluated.
Firstly, the candidate must carefully read all the relevant information to the test available on the postgraduate office website for the department they intend to join, paying particular attention to the deadlines of the process. Being aware of the registration period, they should send their information (1: name; 2: ID; 3: email; 4: phone; 5: the choice for either masters or PhD; 6: area – Anatomy, Tissue and Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Physiology and biophysics, Immunology, Microbiology, Parasitology) until the registration deadline by e-mail in a message with the subject ICB Inscrição, to clprofic@usp.br . Emails sent out EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER the registration deadline, as well as those that DO NOT CONTAIN ALL THE INFORMATION REQUESTED, will be disregarded and the registration will NOT be completed.
Once your application is received and computed by the Language Center, the
candidate will receive, via email, the registration response with an attached
bank bill, containing their information. The candidate must CONFIRM RECIEVING THE MESSAGE AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES. The non-confirmation of the message implies on cancellation of the registration. If the student does not receive the bank bill by the date specified in the test instructions, the candidate should contact FFLCH (phone: 3091-2417), on the date determined in this procedure, requesting the bank bill to be sent again. Otherwise, their application will not be completed.
Finally, the candidate must pay the bank bill in the bank of their choice until the date set in the bill itself. Candidates who do not pay the fee until the due date will have their registration canceled.
Proficiency in English should be treated by the student directly at the Language
Centre FFLCH. The successful candidate must submit the registration documentation, specifying list is approval (month and year) or deliver a copy of the approval of proof in other tests accepted in Ordinance nº 4.
